This year I focused our list on the men who were able to put together a systematic, scientific approach to learning about game and life. Regardless or your background, systems allow us to see through evidence how to create a type of game or understand ourselves better with a mental map or framework. You may wonder why I didn’t nominate or repeat some previous winners.

Well, if you must know, allow me to keep it real: sort of disappeared after his business partnership with Mike Long, and he never stays long enough for a business to grow. As a legend and pioneer, this is frustrating to me and many other fans who have supported him over the years.

Sort of abandoned us too. Some might say he’s moved on, and good for him, but he hasn’t really contributed much to the community.

-Johnny Wolf. You put David Deida on a”Top PUA Coaches” list?

That guy’s books changed my life, to be sure, and I have every one of them. But Deida’s not a PUA (unless literally picking girls up in the air to press your belly into them counts) at all. His influence on us is heavy but to leave out the Seductive Instinct Team, Mayeda, Bravo, and a host of others who identified as PUAs at some point? Most coaches in the game transcend at some level, but all these guys started in pickup. Deida’s a life changer, for sure, but if it weren’t for David DeAngelo, we never would have heard of him. Who’s next, Chopra and Tolle? I feel like “pick-up” is fading.

Pickup just oozes out “sleeziness”. Glad to see David Dieda on the list. I think the “dating / pua” community will slowly start shifting into more and more holistic approaches such as Dieda. RSD seems to be slowly moving into more holistic stuff (atleast Tyler seems to). That seems to be the trend as dating coaches have realized that who the person is & inner game HUGELY TRUMPS outer game and “pick-up” stuff. Shogo from youtube.com/ShogoGarcia and Luke from youtube.com/GoldJacketLuke are more “life-coachy” but have some SOLID dating & pickup stuff and are definitely “up-and-comers”.
